About the AlzInsights AI Prize 

There are currently more than 55 million people worldwide living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Recent breakthroughs in new treatments and diagnostics provide hope, but there is potential to accelerate the pace of discovery and development.  


Our goal is to leverage agentic AI - AI that can plan, reason, and act autonomously - to help generate a powerful leap in the pace, scale, and reach of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias research.

Application Process


First Round
(Application Stage)

Written application submitted via web portal

  • Application web portal opens: August 19, 2025
  • Submission deadline: September 12, 2025 at 11:59pm PT

Second Round (Semi-Finalist Stage)

Up to eight semi-finalist teams will be selected to present at a pitch event around the Clinical Trials on Alzheimer's Disease (CTAD) Conference during the week of December 1 in San Diego, CA (USA). Teams will prepare for a 10-minute pitch, including a short demo of their product prototype and a 5-minute Q&A with the judging panel. Teams can have a maximum of 2 presenters. Travel and presentation support will be provided for the live pitch event.

  • Semi-finalists announced: October 3, 2025
  • Semi-finalist demos due: November 21, 2025, at 11:59pm PT
  • Semi-finalist pitch event: Week of December 1, 2025 (San Diego) 

Third Round (Finalist Stage)

Up to three finalist teams will be invited to a final event around the AD/PD International Conference during the week of March 16, 2026 in Copenhagen (Denmark). Teams will prepare for a 10-minute presentation, including a short demo of their product and a 10-minute Q&A with the judging panel. Teams can have a maximum of 2 presenters. Travel and presentation support will be provided for the live pitch event.
