How do I access the AD Discovery Portal? 

You can access the AD Discovery Portal by visiting: https://discover.alzheimersdata.org/ 

Do I need an account to browse datasets? 

No, anyone can browse the publicly accessible dataset catalog without registering for an account. However, an account is required to request access to datasets and analyze data within AD Workbench Workspaces. 

How do I request access to a dataset?

  • Navigate to the dataset details page in AD Discovery Portal.
  • Login if you haven’t already. 
  • Click Request Access and complete the required form. 
  • Your request will be reviewed, and you will be notified once it is approved. 
  • View data access requests by visiting: https://fair.addi.ad-datainitiative.org/#/data/requests 

What types of datasets are available?

The AD Discovery Portal includes a variety of datasets, including: 

  • Imaging data (MRI, PET scans, etc.) 
  • Omics data (genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics) 
  • Clinical data (patient records, biomarkers, cognitive assessments) 
  • Multi-modal datasets that integrate different data types 

What should I do if I experience issues requesting, accessing, or analyzing a dataset?

You can write to support@alzheimersdata.org for help with any of the above dataset-related issues. 

What if I forgot my login credentials?

If you have trouble logging in, use the password reset option on the login page or contact support@alzheimersdata.org for assistance with resetting the Authenticator app.
